A set of traditional karatsu stoneware Yunomi teacup by 12th generation of Taroemon Nakazato (1895-1985) also known as Muan. The set is named Sakutaro Chawan and they are all very good in condition and have taroemon mark. They comes with an original signed and sealed storage box. Highly recommended article.
12th generation of Nakazato Taroemon is one of the most famous and skillful Japanese potter in 20th century. He had been awarded many prizes and designated as living national trasure of Karatsu pottery.
