A modern Kutani masterpiece, large porcelain vase overglazed in polychrome enamels in Ko kutani style with dynamically rendered impressive design made by Yasokichi Tokuda. It has Yasokichi mark on its bottom. The vase is excellent in condition with no chips or cracks. Yasokichi Tokuda (1873-1953) was known the leading modern Kutani potter for this skillful technique of overglaze enamels in Kutani style also named ,in 1953, Mukei bunkazai Hojisha, holder of an important Intangible Cultural Property, a position better known by its popular title, Ningen Kokuho, living national treasure.
