Estimated from late 19th to early 20th century, Japanese silver rimed lacquered suzuribako writing box including inkstone, two brushes, knife awl, suiteki water dropper, and ink-stick holder. The box has impressive and exquisite maki-e gold lacquer work in the motif of pine tree, bamboo, Ume tree, chrysanthemum on fans and dynamically flying crane in clouds on reserse side of its lid. The inside is decorated with beautiful sprinkled lacquer work. This is highly recommended quality article. It is very good in condition with fine patina.
