Estimated from early to mid 20th century, exquisitely carved in beautiful motifr, Ainu Wood Makiri Small Sheath Knife. Highly recommended quality piece. Overall condition is excellent with fine patina. It has been refered this Makiri to Mingu Zuroku, Ainu craft illustrated book, by Tsutomu Ito, a prominent ainu craft scholar.
